The trunk is usually spared.Coexisting diseases include monoclonal paraproteinemia, lymphoproliferative disorders, chronic infections, autoimmune conditions, and connective tissue disease.Histopathology reveals a leukocytoclastic vasculitis in early-stage disease, and mixed inflammation and fibrosis in late-stage disease.
