Other cutaneous manifestations include lymphocytoma and acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans, which are only seen in European disease.Diagnosis is typically made on clinical identification of the erythema migrans rash and/or serologic testing.Early treatment with antibiotics (doxycycline, amoxicillin, or cefuroxime) is highly successful.
