AB KEY  POINTSTinea  versicolor  can  be  localized  or  widespread  and  most  commonly  presents  on  the  trunk  but  can  also  present  on  the  face.In  lighter  skin  types,  it  tends  to  present  as  pink  to  salmon-colored  scaly  patches,  while  in  darker  skin,  it  is  also  scaly  but  can  vary  in  color  from  being  hyperpigmented  and  gray  to  hypopigmented.
